We ventured up to the wilds of Seattle once again for Norwescon, the Science Fiction/Fantasy convention. This was our first time, but it was a lot like Orycon, so we felt at home. Like a hurricane we descended upon the Doubletree, in plenty of time for our Friday night performance. What a crowd! The place was packed, and when we got to “Nathan Fillion (Please Take Off Your Pants)”, it was deafening. Our secret weapon was violinist Sunnie Larsen, who added a fantastic element to some of our songs. We brought up our new CD sampler and download codes for Take Everything for people to take home with them.
Our panels went well, especially Jessica’s DNA/RNA panel, which was chock-full of science. We got to see Molly Lewis and Tony & Vixy Saturday night, and of course there was much hanging-out at the bar. That night was also the first time we participated in a filk circle, going around and taking turns singing songs. We did “The Ultimate Riot”, “Everybody Dies”, and “If I Die Young (The Zombie Song)”, which went over well.
There were a lot of tables for other cons coming up, so be prepared for some more gigs. We hope to see you soon!

It was delightful having you guys up here. Thanks for letting me drop in on your set! I would do it again anytime you’ll let me! 🙂
That is a verbal– well, I guess it’s a written contract! It was wonderful, and we’ll definitely play together again.
