The album will be available on May 26, but you can get dibs now on our Bandcamp page. As a special bonus, if you order the whole album for $10, you will receive (at no extra charge) the bonus track “Nathan Fillion (Please Take Off Your Pants)”, recorded live at Conflikt Filk Convention in January. Preorders allow you to download our nerd madrigal “The Lego Song” to tide you over.
It’s an extra special privilege to have cover art designed by local artist Lucy Bellwood – she’s a band favorite. We recorded the album here in Portland at Anthemtown Studios with Will West, who hosted the open mic show where we debuted most of these songs.
In addition to the digital album, we also have PHYSICAL CDS for sale. Yes, that’s right, real media with a gravitational pull that is directly proportional to the product of your masses and inversely proportional to the square of its distance from you. Bonus science! CDs will be $13 and include the digital album when purchased through Bandcamp. Of course, we’ll have the CDs at our live appearances, where they will be $10. So if you’re thrifty, come see us live!
We went over all of our songs and picked some of the ones that fans responded to the most, so you’ll definitely get “Best In Life” and “The Story Of Me”, as well as “Love Is BASIC” and the title track. AND Aubrey from The Doubleclicks plays cello on “The Story Of Me”, so you know, we got that going for us, which is nice.
