It’s time for another peek at the “Something’s Rotten” track list, but first a huge THANK YOU to Leila Del Duca for inviting us to perform at her CBLDF benefit last night alongside her supergroup, The Wesley Crushers. Some heavy-hitting comics and music talent rolled up into one band! Just as an example, Leila not only draws SHUTTER, she also plays banjo, trumpet, and sings. It’s crazy. GALLERY
The event was emceed by Alison Hallett and Erik Henriksen, who hinted that their amazing Comics Underground events might not be dead after all!
But let us get back to the reveal!
This one is a star shanty, in the style of the old songs sailors would sing to their loves before embarking. Those of you who have seen it performed live know that it’s a toss-up whether Jessica will get through it without choking up, so get your hankies ready.
